AF Enclosed Motor Starters
Springer Controls offers a full line of enclosed motor starters for both AC and DC power. The AF series motor starters utilize the AF contactors and TF overload relays from ABB®. These compact starters are perfect for any simple application needing motor control and protection from overload current. For more complex control panels, allow us to design and build a panel for you in our UL508A approved panel shop. Key Features: All contactors, overload relays, and custom panels are UL approved IP65, NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosures stocked. Usually ships same/next day. Manual Motor Starters
Manual Motor StartersSpringer Controls Company manual motor starters are 3-pole horsepower rated switches that incorporates a manual disconnect switch, overload relay and instantaneous magnetic trip mechanism in one compact device. The switches offer motor protection circuit breaker up to 32 amps. Available as open devices or as an enclosed motor starter. All poles open for both thermal and magnetic trips. UL listed, CSA approved. To use the product selector filters:
Type: Open (for mounting inside your own enclosure), Enclosed Flush mount (for mounting in the door of your own enclosure), Enclosed Surface mount (pre-mounted in IP55 rated enclosure)
Amp Range: Choose based on the full load amperage (FLA) of the motor your want to start at whatever voltage you will supply.

Soft Starters
Springer Controls offers a full range of soft starters, starting torque limiters, as well as electronic contactors. Soft starters control the voltage supply during the start up of a motor to match the load requirements on startup. This makes for a smooth controlled startup while limiting the current draw. Soft starts are available with or without internal bypass.
